For the past two years, Mental Health America of Augusta has brought community members together to show support, provide resources, and help reduce the stigma of mental health in our community. This year, the #RunningDownStigma 5k Run/Walk will be held at Gypsy Hill Park on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 8:00 am.

Advocacy update: Youth mental health crisis report released

Mental Health America released a report Tuesday titled Addressing the Youth Mental Health Crisis: The Urgent Need for More Education, Services and Supports. 


Care package project completed with NAMI

MHA-A and NAMI Central Shenandoah Valley collaborated on this project to put together 150 care packages for our community.  They provided tips on interacting with individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. 


MHA-A receives CFCBR community grant

Mental Health America of Augusta received a 2021 Community Grant from the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge.
