Veterans Feed and Connect
On behalf of Mental Health America of Augusta, the Veteran’s Brunch Group at Embrace Community Center, and Valley Community Services Board, all active duty service members, veterans, and families are invited to participate in our upcoming Veterans Feed and Connect event. The event will take place on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at Augusta Expo from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Many of our veterans are in need of community support. With over 25 community resources our goal is to provide an event where all can come to connect through food and resources to receive the support they need.

27th A.R. “Pete” Giesen Jr. MHA-A Memorial Tournament
Join us for a day of celebration, golf, and honoring what A.R. “Pete” Giesen Jr. spent so many years working toward, Better Mental Health for all. MHA-A will host our annual Pete Giesen Jr. MHA-A Golf Tournament on Friday, June 28th for the 27th annual A.R. “Pete” Giesen Jr. MHA-A Memorial Golf Tournament. The tournament provides scholarships for students in our area to pursue their next stage of life and benefits students’ mental health through programming in our area.
